Per a resolution passed at last May's Spring Meetings (2010), The American Legion and VeteransPlus have an official national partnership.

Per a contract executed in January of 2010, the California Department of Veteran Affairs named VeteransPlus as the exclusive provider of financial education and counseling for California Veterans.

About The Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice
Gulf Coast is culminating its military initiative by commissioning research and publishing a policy report that aims to strengthen the strained safety net for deployed and returning military veterans and their families. Gulf Coast provided aid in 25 counties in central and southwest Florida, investing in the work of nonprofits that directly serve our military community.

Per a grant awarded by The Community Foundation in Jacksonville, VeteransPlus conducts outreach and financial seminars across 13 north Florida counties for OIF & OEF military and Veterans and their families.
About The Community Foundation in Jacksonville
The Community Foundation in Jacksonville received a $5 million 2-year grant from the Iraq Afghanistan Deployment Impact Fund (IADIF) of the California Community Foundation, to provide assistance to North Florida military personnel and their families, who have been impacted by deployments as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The particular focus of this fund is on meeting the unmet needs.
